Aebleskivers - General Conference

The Jensen name comes from Denmark along with family stories and a yummy breakfast recipe.  Cameron grew up eating aebleskivers passed on down through the generations.  Aebleskivers, meaning apple slices, are Danish traditional pancakes.  We celebrate our Jensen name by making aebleskivers for breakfast on General Conference Sundays.  Cam added strawberries to this batch.

As President Monson was closing the morning session with his talk on charity being the pure love of Christ and being kind within our families.... Jensen 2, Jensen 3, and Jensen 4 dog-piled each other fighting over who would pet Oreo (SERIOUSLY!).  Jensen 1 was upset because she couldn't hear President Monson and pushed Jensen 3 in the face to supposedly stop the commotion which only made it worse.  At that same moment Jensen 4 got up, ripped up her art she was working on, threw it to the ground, and stomped to her room in frustration for not being able to make it PERFECT!  Cameron rolled his eyes and I turned up the volume.  We totally blame the dog!

Thank goodness we are still in our '"4 minutes" of "life".
