Happy Birthday T!

Trevor had a great birthday on the 27th.  We celebrated by going to Red Robin for lunch (Red Robin is our favorite place to eat once or twice and only a year).  He got his traditional breakfast in bed with gifts and a day off of doing chores.  Later in the week he had a friend party that included lots of friends, basketball, rubber band guns that Dad made, shooting rubber bands, movie, pizza, cake and ice cream and more rubber band shooting.  It's great to be 10!

Utah Mountains

The fourth graders had their yearly 'Cookies with Cool Dads' and made a relief map of Utah.   We are so blessed to live next to my favorite mountains in the whole world.  We also live on the biggest fault line, but I don't think of that when I go outside on my porch.

Temple Square

One cool November Sunday, the Jensenites took a trip to Salt Lake to visit Temple Square before the holiday crowd appeared.  We toured all the Visitor Centers, watched the Joseph Smith movie, walked around and took lots of pictures, talked to all of the Sister Missionaries, grumbled a little, visited the LDS history museum and had a picnic lunch in the Suburban (Lion House Cafe was closed).  It was a good Sunday.

Full Moon

Check out the view from the West this morning.  A beautiful blessing on 11-11-11.  Makayla and Jarin (YM and YW) were out putting up flags this morning around the neighborhood to honor this day and all our courageous veterans.  Thank you.

Photo Booth Fun

We have a photo booth app on our Apple computer that allows that kids to take pictures and make video recordings of themselves.  I recently went through the 500 photos and 200 videos and deleted potty humor videos and multiple images of kids pulling faces.  Here are just a few I saved for fun.
