Our little neighborhood (1/2 mile by 1/2 mile) houses fourteen 6th grade boys. Boys that love to get together and play any ball in backyards and sneak snacks out of pantry closets. Boys that crawl over fences and get in trouble by the neighboring neighbors who call me and I in turn am obligated to call ALL of their mothers since I will be out of town for 10 days and I don't want any mishaps while I am gone. Boys that Scout and camp together towards their Eagle. Boys that chat too much in church but are respectful of their duties. Boys that are young and confident and will make a difference in this world.
Six of those boys are in Ms. Howard's class. I pray for her everyday.
