I consider myself very tidy and organized. My motto is a 'home for everything'. That's what I tell my kids all the time. If it doesn't have a home then toss it or find a home for it.
Fortunately I married a man who also is clean and tidy. I said clean and tidy. He leaves the organizing to me. I organized his desk several months ago and gave him a place for 'everything'.
