Fairview Canyon Camping Trip
We went camping with the Okies - they are such wonderful friends that they are more like family.
Cameron and Jason have been best friends since the good old days of high school. They shared the glory days of being North Sevier's basketball starters and went to the top.

Porter and Jarin
We took a road trip and ended up in Scofield. This brought back good old fifth grade memories. In Alpine School District, the fifth graders have the opportunity to spend a week at the Clear Creek Camp just up the road a mile or two of Scofield. I went in fifth grade and Makayla did too - Jarin will go next summer. I just love that my kids will have the same childhood memories as I do.
Part of the Clear Creek summer camp is to hike to the remains of Winter Quarters and hear the ghost stories of the mining town - it fascinated me then as it does now.
Scofield Cemetery
The beauty and reverence of past lives now buried in old grave yards have always allured me.
The kids felt it too as they found many graves marked in the early 1900's baring young names.
The majority of the miners lost in the Scolfield mine disaster are
represented by the tablets pictured.
The new wood tablet stands next to the 109 year old tablet.
Even the old vehicle left on the side yard intrigues me.

I would love to know the history of this homestead.
We attempted to fish - no bites - it was still fun.
Trevor cast the line so powerfully, he ended up throwing himself over the boardwalk.

AF Canyon Camping Trip
We went camping the last weekend before school started with some great neighbors and had a splendid time.
It rained a lot - as a result - no pictures.

Family camping trips have always been a treat for the guys in the Pack family. It is great that you want to go live in the wild in a tent and not in a Holiday Inn. A great time without any fish, only Trevor had to be pulled out the water.JI JI JI JI JA JA JA chilean laugh..............
