Star Week

I don't know many mothers who do flips when it is their child's week to spot light.  Me, I groan cheer and wait until the last minute to buy a poster to make my child shine.  Thank goodness for digital cameras and printers.  This year I stored a year supply of poster paper downstairs dedicated just for school projects.  When Kerri and Rebekah's spot light weeks drew near, I asked the girls if we could do ONE poster for the two of them.  Hey, they're twins - we can so get away with one poster.
No way!
They have been anticipating their shining moment for months.  With three older kids and a dozen star posters already under my belt, I armed myself and took a different approach.
We made reusable posters!
Trevor is the one who suggested it when it was his star week.
He said, "Mom, let's just use last year's poster and glue a new picture on it."
Hey!  I love that idea!  I did a flip.

Rebekah, Kerri and I designed their posters to be used for the next four years - fingers crossed.

Best Friends!

They are so cute together!
Twins are SO much fun!

You are SO dreaming!!! I actually laminated most of those posters and they have a place of honor in the closets. Every once in a while we move a new one to the front so we see it for a while. They are like HUGE scrapbook pages!!!
