Winter gave us one more evening (Halloween night) of Autumn warmth before knocking on our doors - the calm before the storm. She didn't hold back in her opening entrance. We awoke in the middle of the night with the wind howling and rain pounding on our doors. It was cold all the next day - windy, rainy, snowy, winter coats and gloves. Brrrr!
